Made a habit of annoying me out of spite. Went on a hunger strike, even though I kept telling him the stuff tastes fine. That whole... Kissing your hand thing... Expect a lot of that.

[A slight look of distaste is clear at this point.]

Always, always take it as read he's assuming you're hot for him - 'cause he is. He's just... Really immature.

Ugh. [Full-on disgust face. She rubs her eyes before speaking.] Great. Another egotistical vampire that thinks he oozes with irresistible attractiveness. I mean, the Anne Rice routine is pretty spot-on. But..

You'd think I'd have already met all of them by now.

[There's a lot of muttering and rubbing of the back of neck.]

Prefect? Maybe? Oh... The blonde girl, Claire. And the, uh... Yeah, the Marquis was here. There's hardly anyone left from what you might call the 'old days'.

Few years ago. Can't say I ever kept count and... I don't rightly trust the clocks and calendars around here.

[See what's on that table? Rayne's going back to what she was doing on it: Sharpening one of those long, sexy blades she has.]

This place is probably in a bubble. A time-bubble. [...] What I mean is, time here is more likely than not, one big illusion. But it doesn't make it.. fake.

[Buffy's eyes are looking at those sharp shiny blades with interest, then they dull over as she goes into a sort of fantasy about how she'd use those blades..]

Yeah, well... All I know is, I went back home and no time had passed, so...

[Shing... Shing... Shing... It's such a pretty sound. And it reminds the more crimson-haired vampire-hunter of something else.]

Time-bubble. [She states again, a little distractedly, with a short nod. Her daze breaks when Rayne asks about her Scythe.]

It's a Scythe. And it's.. [On her bed.] Around.

[More pausing.] Anyway, I should probably get back to figuring out how to not die a stress-related death. [Short whine.] This would all be so much easier if I could just chop his head off and call it a day.
